Tuesdays won’t be the same again in France, thanks to Cinéday. Every Tuesday, Orange offers its customers two tickets for the price of one. They just need to decide which lucky person they will take with them.
It all began in 2004 in the United Kingdom with "Orange Wednesdays", an initiative undertaken as part of the brand’s commitment to cinema. Since then, Orange has welcomed more than 27 million customers to the cinema, and the offer that has now been extended to eight other countries.
The concept has now been unveiled in France under the name "Orange Cinéday." Every Tuesday, Orange offers its customers two tickets for the price of one. They just need to decide which lucky person they will take with them.

All of our Orange customers in Metropolitan France can benefit from the Cinéday offer, no matter what plan they are on.
This offer is valid for all public screenings in Orange’s partner movie theaters, except for premieres. Orange is bringing together the largest movie theater networks and is expanding its offer every day to include a number of independent cinemas.
Customers can order their Cinéday code from the Wednesday to the Tuesday before their chosen screening using their mobile, landline or online at www.cineday.fr.
All they need to do is present their code at the ticket booth at one of Orange’s partner movie theaters to obtain two tickets for the price of one. Customers can use as many codes as they have Orange accounts, and can take advantage of the offer every week. Please note: the code is only valid for the Tuesday following the order.
Orange Cinéday at the heart of the digital world
Orange has developed a vibrant community of daily content for all things Cinéday
- a "Cinéday" app for your mobile. Available on Android and iPhone, it enables customers to receive their code, and get all the latest cinema news directly on their mobile: trailers, synopses, reviews, etc.
- a Dailymotion channel. Since February 21, 2012, the funny videos directed by the "Motion makers" have been viewed almost 1.4 million times by internet surfers using the Cinéday playlist.
- the Cinéday website and Orange Facebook pages.
on May 10, 2012, Cinéday celebrates its first birthday
Since the launch of Cinéday on May 10, 2011, nearly one million cinema tickets have been given away to Orange customers, allowing them to share a moment of conviviality with someone close to them. The record was beaten on May 8, when 42,900 tickets were snapped up!
A study carried out by BVA in April 2012 on a panel of Cinéday users shows that the customers like the Cinéday offer. Furthermore, Orange Cinéday has also had a positive impact on the film industry.
Finally, just like in the movies, a child in hospital is still just a child! Orange supports the French association, "Les Toiles Enchantées."
