NFC, allied with the security of the SIM card, means you can pay for purchases in participating stores directly by using your phone.
In addition to payment, mobile NFC can be used for identification purposes, and as such will replace the various badges, keys, tickets, coupons and so on that currently fill your pockets.
Thanks to its technical and technological know-how, specifically with regard to security, Orange is playing a leading role in the rollout of NFC in France, alongside its partners BNP Paribas, Crédit Mutuel and Veolia.
Implementation of the NFC structure is currently in progress, and from 2013 it will become a reality in France, with over 20 NFC-equipped mobile phones in the Orange store range and 30% of payment terminals compatible with NFC payment.
