richer communication

3 innovations

joyn: another way to communicate with your friends and family

Joyn is a “3-in-1” interpersonal communication service: in just one service, it combines voice and video call features with photo and video sharing during the conversation, a chat system with status sending, and a file transfer function.
The service will be natively integrated in our new compatible handsets, without the need to create an account or password.

Orange will be the first operator in France to offer joyn mobile handsets from summer 2013. Furthermore, on November 28 Orange announced the first launch of a joyn offer in Spain.

Libon: the next step in communication and messaging

Libon is a multi-operator mobile app, rolled out in 80 countries, that provides HD VoIP communication and instant messaging on a smartphone.

Calls between Libon users are free. Its features include an instant messaging service, and a smart visual voicemail system. Libon will also be compatible with the joyn community.

In France, the iPhone version was released November 21, 2012, and an Android version will be launched before the end of the year.

Party Call with Facebook: when conversations turn “social”

A major feature resulting from the strategic partnership between Orange and Facebook, PartyCall – a “conference call service for the general public” – allows friends to talk to one another directly from the social network: conversations can be held between two or more users, with a distinction made between public and private calls, and the posting of “voice” activity to users’ walls.

As soon as a friend organizes or joins a public call, a post is published, and their close friends can then join in the conversation.
In France, Party Call will be rolled out on Facebook in the first six months of 2013, before being gradually enhanced by features compatible with joyn.
