Orange Beach showcases innovation and digital technology
Designed for cinema professionals, film crews and journalists, this area is a space for meet-ups, press junkets and time off.
Once again this year, the Beach goes digital with:
- digital check-in using contactless beach passes. Whenever a pass is used for the first time, €1 will be donated to the charity ”Les Toiles Enchantées”, which works to bring cinema into hospitals.
- a "digital bar" for surfing the web on tablets, downloading apps, exploring 4G uses and testing the LiveBox play.
- digital coaches will be on hand for support and to present the new services and innovations: Orange TV, contactless services, Orange Cloud, and more.
What's more, the food on Orange Beach will this year be provided by two Michelin-starred chef Bruno Oger from Villa Archange.
In keeping with its commitments, the Group take full responsibility for the impact of its events on society and the environment. To this end, the events teams have implemented Chorus, the Group's responsible event policy, in the design of Orange Beach and the Wifi Café. Chorus is a continuous improvement approach implemented by our teams, employees and providers, in order to gradually change the way they work on Orange events.
Orange's technological know-how at the service of the Festival
As part of its partnership, Orange is providing the Festival with the company's communication tools. Orange is providing the "Wifi Café", a 300 sq m space in the Palais des Festivals where accredited journalists and photographers will be able to connect free of charge to Orange's Wifi network from 9 am to 11 pm and work in a comfortable, user-friendly environment.
