Orange strengthens its commitment to flat rates and launches the new “Tarifa Plana Mini”

Orange is strengthening its commitment to flat rates as the most effective way for its customers to save money, by launching the “Tarifa
Plana Mini.” This new rate for individual contract customers allows free calls to all domestic destinations, fixed or mobile, including all operators, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday to Sunday, for a monthly fee of €15.
The “Tarifa Plana Mini” is available for new subscribers and transfered customers with portability, as well as for current customers, and offers up to 300 calling minutes per billing cycle. Thus, a customer who uses the rate during the 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. time slot would pay only 5 euro cents per minute, with no connection charge.
With the launch of this new rate, and its general commitment to the flat-rate model, Orange offers its customers savings by adapting to their actual usage habits, since most of the total minutes its individual customers spend on the telephone fall within the flat-rate time slot, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Out-of-plan price reductions for all flat rates
Moreover, to even further reduce its customers’ telephone bills, Orange is reducing its out-of-plan prices for all its flat rates by almost 17%, from 21.6 to 18 cents per minute. This price reduction will be applied automatically, without need for a request, to all new and current customers of current flat rate plans: Tarifa Plana, Tarifa Plana Plus, Tarifa Plana Naveghable y Tarifa Plana Voz e Internet.
The flat rate model differs from the traditional price/minute concept, allowing customers to meet their communications needs at a fixed, predictable price, with no surprises, regardless of the domestic number he is calling. Orange was a pioneer in launching this type of product in the Spanish market, offering its customers savings, peace of mind in using their mobiles, and control over their bills.
The widest range of Flat Rates
With the launching of the Tarifa Plana Mini, Orange expanded its range of flat rate types to four, offering a variety of savings solutions to match its customers' various needs:
Tarifa Plana Mini: the entry rate, for low-volume users to enjoy the benefits of a flat rate, from €15/month
• Tarifa Plana: the “traditional" flat rate, for more frequent mobile users, available for €22/month
• Tarifa Plana Plus: the rate that offers free calls to landlines all day, every day of the week, in addition to afternoon and evening calls to any destination, for €27.9
• Tarifa Plana Naveghable: adds to the Flat Rate the benefit of free Internet browsing from a mobile.
Flat Rates are compatible with Orange savings modules and promotions, so customers can save even more on their bills. Thus, a customer with any Flat Rate plan may request:
• Bonus SMS: to send SMS to any destination at any time from €6/month. The most economical SMS on the market.
• “My Favorite” Module: to talk to an Orange customer any time and always, for 3 cents/minute.
• “Friends for 0” Promotion: allows customers to bring over their friends from other operators and to always talk to them, at any time, for 0 cents/minute.
