France Telecom Subsidiary Almerys Acquires Enora Technologies

Paris, May 29, 2009

Almerys, an entity of Orange Business Services specializing in health services, is broadening its expertise with the 100 % acquisition of Enora Technologies,  producer of electronic solutions for the health monitoring of “A-List” athletes.

Orange Business Services reinforces its position and extends its range of services and solutions in the healthcare and insurance fields (social security, life-insurance and healthcare providers, mutuals, etc.) by opening up to medical care monitoring of athletes. The alliance of Enora Technologies and Almerys brings a special offer to the market that combines security, data hosting and various sports-medicine related functions.

Currently, Almerys is the leader of direct payment healthcare providers and the number one network for registered direct payment healthcare providers in France.

This acquisition enables Orange Business Services to:

complete its healthcare offers within the line of “Team” solutions
- TeamLive: an online solution that provides administrative, educational and medical support monitoring for athletes
- TeamLiveMed: an online solution specifically for the medical care of major athletes
- TeamLivePocket: a standalone software program to manage athletic files that is run off an encrypted USB memory stick
- TeamSanté: the leading software program for monitoring the health of athletes

further develop its solution for sports federations

Since 1998, Enora Technologies has developed a unique expertise in software development for sports federation committees: the monitoring of athletes’ health, training history and performance.
The recent achievements of Enora Technologies:
In February 2009, the solution TeamLiveMed was used at The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Val D’Isère, to monitor the medical treatment of injured athletes.

For the French Ligue de Football Professionnel, Enora Technologies ensures the electronic collection and processing of biological and cardiovascular test results (ECG + echocardiography) for approximately 1,000 football players every year.

During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Almerys collaborated with Enora Technologies on an online solution that enabled doctors to consult the medical files of athletes selected for the Olympic games. This secure solution helped medically monitor the athletes and simplified the decision making of doctors. The software application stored over 800 medical consultations, 2,700 physical therapy sessions and 1,400 medical files.

In 2008, Enora Technologies generated a revenue of € 520,000.

At the height of its success in the Third-Party Payment field, Orange Business Services, through Almerys, will continue to contribute to the advancement of the healthcare services of tomorrow: the third generation direct payment system (with a secure infrastructure and the cleyris™ smart card), the online accessibility of patient medical files, the overall prevention and the ability for direct payment services in real-time (dental, hospital and eye-care) are all part of the current plans.
