Following the completion of confirmatory due diligence, France Telecom and TDC signed today a final agreement to combine their respective subsidiaries in Switzerland, Orange Communication S.A. (“Orange Suisse”) and Sunrise Communications S.A. (“Sunrise”).

This agreement is consistent with the terms of the transaction announced on 25 November 2009 and confirms the commitment of the two groups to create a strong alternative operator in Switzerland.

The completion of this transaction is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2010, once approvals have been obtained from the Swiss competition and relevant regulatory authorities.
