In Bahrain, the group is present through Jordan Telecom Group – the leader in fixed-line, mobile and Internet services en Jordan – holding 51% of in Lightspeed communications.

Lightspeed Communications is Bahrain's first alternative fixed-line telecommunications operator, offering value-added and innovative services to its costumers.

This young company is specialised in internet services such as voice over IP, video on demand, and client database protection and security, and was notably the first operator to launch Double Play offers in Bahrain.

This acquisition is fully embedded in the group’s development strategy in the Middle East where it is already present in Jordan and Egypt with over 12 million customers.

Innovations are already scheduled since new Triple Play services will be launched before the end of this summer.
