In Mauritius, the group holds 40% of the group Mauritius Telecom providing fixed line, mobile and internet services.

In April 2008, Mauritius Telecom welcomed Orange in Mauritius. Orange in Mauritius is the commercial brand for the mobile and internet services of Cellplus Mobile Communications Ltd and Telecom Plus Ltd.

CellPlus Mobile Communications, certified in 2004, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mauritius Telecom. It has extensively expanded its network and introduced a rich portfolio of innovative services to satisfy its vast customer base since its operation in 1996.

Cellplus introduced the first GSM cellular network in Mauritius in november 1999 and its mobile services 3G in November 2004.

With a network covering  99% of the population, CellPlus is now leader in the telecoms market  in Mauritius.
