ONE was granted the third Austrian mobile license in 1997 and a 20-year UMTS license on November 20, 2000. The ONE brand was replaced by the Orange brand on September 22, 2008. As of December 31, 2009,
Orange Austria’s 2G network covered 98.3% of the population, and its 3G network 68%.
