Since June 2006,
Orange has been the single brand for mobile, internet, television and convergent
offers in France.
To offer the best of telecoms, the group is drawing on the depth and simplicity
of its offerings, as well as proximity with its customers thanks to its nationwide
presence.
Orange is the leading mobile operator in France, serving more than 24,2 million customers at the end of December2007.
The livebox allows customers to access broadband multi-play services: internet, voice-over-IP,
ADSL TV and domestic services called Liveservices. It is a big success on the
French market, with nearly 5,2 million units sold or rented at the end of December2007.
Out of all the Internet service provider portals in France, Orange is leading the way in terms of “audience” figures, with 13.8 million visits in December 2006 on www.orange.fr.
The unified portal’s version for mobile and internet services was launched in
May 2007, allowing the customer a single access to stay in touch with Orange.
Following a test phase in 2006, the group has launched the pre-deployment of "Lafibre", presenting its commercial services for certain districts in Paris, suburbs and large
towns and cities in France. The fibre (FTTH fibre to the home) technology is being offered with speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
