Since June 2005, the France Telecom Group has offered with Orange Business Services
a powerfull partnership to large or small businesses worldwide. Orange Business
Services provide a global range of integrated services and innovative solutions,
that strengthen business performance and make it easier for employees to work
together.To support the international development of large corporations, Orange Business
Services uses the world's most extensive seamless data network and offers local
support in 166 countries and territories. Orange Business Services is leading
the IP-VPN access market. The group provides IT and data services to 3,700 multinational
companies including two-thirds of the Global Fortune 100. The offers address every
business field, from financial services to industry, media companies or big administrations.
One of the major successes is the Business Everywhere offer which allows a seamless
access to the office resources, when employees are out and about.
In November 2006, Orange Business Services won the 2005 World Communications Awards for Best International Mobile Operator and Best Global Carrier, highlighting its leadership in uniting mobile, IP and fixed line services to allow maximizing investments in IT.
In April 2007 Orange Business Services joined the “Magic Quadrant” leaders for mobile services in Europe (Gartmer Inc).
In May 2007 Orange Business Services was ranked number six for turnover in France in IT services (Pierre Audoin Consultants ranking). This is a gain of 3 ranks compared to 2006, when it entered the list.
