who we areFrance Telecom-Orange has a R&D centre in Poland, created in 2004 within Telekomunikacja Polska (TP). Since 2009, this centre has been part of the international Orange Labs network. Its mission is to provide innovative IT solutions, services meeting quality (QoS) and simplicity standards, to offer a competitive advantage to TP Group. The research and development activity is performed by the Orange Labs in Poland on the basis of both TP Group and France Telecom-Orange’s requirements.
Made up of more than 400 well-trained employees, the Orange Labs is located on 7 sites throughout Poland: Warsaw, Lublin, Wroclaw, Olsztyn, Krakow, Lodz and Poznan. This R&D centre has more than 50 patent applications.
what we doThe Orange Labs provides information technology and services, accelerates the creation of innovations and their implementation in TP Group. It delivers production for France Telecom-Orange in selected areas: core, access, multimodal applications development, middleware, service platforms. The Orange Labs in Poland also participates in European R&D projects, and national and international standardisation bodies activities.
Its
main activities cover lots of information and communication technologies, that are essential to the creation of services offerings for both residential and business markets. The Orange Labs also supports the development of TP Group products. Activities are performed in the following areas:
