Jean-Michel Severino (aged 54) was Managing Director of the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement, AFD) until April 2010, serving three consecutive terms. He has created the "Investisseurs et Partenaires" fund to be launched at the beginning of May 2011, specialized in investments in SMEs in sub-Saharan Africa. He was appointed as a director of Danone at the company's shareholders' meeting on 28 April 2011.
