As part of its partnership with the European cultural season, Orange has published
the
together quest adventure, an online and offline game for 15 to 25 year olds
Monday 17 November will see the start of a virtual "journey" through 27 European
Union capitals on
www.orange.fr/togetherquest for participating teams of 4 players.
The adventure will continue for the top four teams, with a final challenge in
the heart of Paris on 20 December; up for grabs: a year of VIP cultural events
with Orange all over Europe.
Adopting a humorous and sometimes wacky tone, Orange set out to gain the interest
of young people throughout Europe, showing that it is possible to discover the
cultural heritage of our 26 neighbours and have fun at the same time. "together
quest" thus reminds us of the importance of social bonds and community action,
which are part and parcel of young peoples' lifestyle and which hold high the
genetic code of our new brand vision, "together, we can do more".
"together quest" online: how it works
- each team is made up of four players
- a journey through the capital cities of the 27 European Union countries
- 162 challenges along an original, sometimes wacky route
- the teams move along their route by means of a "one-arm bandit", which determines
the number of moves they can make
- each square corresponds to a specific action (question, trap, bonus, etc...)
and can lead to players winning or losing points
- the game is over when a team reaches the last square.
Each team must try to win as many points as possible to become one of the highest
scorers. Players have three weeks to get into the top 4 and qualify for the final.
final in Paris on 20 December
On 20 December, the four teams with the highest total scores will face off in
a day-long "treasure hunt" throughout Paris:
- 1 team member will have the day help his or her team by solving a series of
riddles which lead to the first half of the treasure
- The other 3 team members will have the same length of time to solve a second
series of riddles, which will take them through Paris to the second half of the
treasure;
The event will come to a close with a dinner organised by Orange, during which
the prizes will be awarded.
an exceptional prize
The four members of the winning team will be able to attend several music and
cinema events: Cannes Film Festival, evening at the "Orange cinema" Festival in
Switzerland, Glastonbury rock festival in England or the "Orange Warsaw Festival"
in Poland (music). They will also receive tickets for sports events such as the
French Tennis Open, a rugby match featuring "Les Bleus" or the Copa del rey (basketball)
in Spain.
