
From March 11 to 15, 2009, Orange will be partnering the
11th Deauville Asian Film Festival, further strengthening its commitment to cinema that began over 10 years ago
with the Cannes Film Festival, British Academy Film Awards and Deauville American
Film Festival.
In association with the Festival, Orange puts Asian films in the spotlight on

Orange cinema series. Orange TV will be offering an exceptional selection of programs dedicated to
Asian cinema throughout the Festival. You will also be able to keep up-to-date
with all the competition’s news and developments through dedicated cinema shows
and magazines.
Orange cinema series, a multi-screen premium television service
Launched in France in November 2008, Orange cinema series is the first multi-screen
(TV, PC and mobile) dedicated to film and TV series. Orange cinema series offers
a selection of quality programs, exclusive and unreleased following special agreements
with the biggest programm producers (Warner, HBO, Loyalty, MGM ...).
Orange cinema series includes five channels, one channel is shown in high definition.
programs are not only available in a linear way but also on demand and catch-up
TV, without any extra charge. Orange cinema series offers a unique service in
the world to download and transfer programs on mobile devices (PCs, multimedia
players and mobile soon).

European film co-production
Orange supports the film industry by investing in European co-production and
acquisition of film catalogs. Its subsidiaries,
Studio 37 in France and
Telekomunikacja Polska (TPSA) in Poland co-finance a wide variety of movies. The first results are very encouraging:
Studio 37 is engaged in 24 feature films, including
Welcome, directed by Philippe Lioret, presented at the last Berlin Film festival and
release in France on 11 March.
Katyn, directed by Andrzej Wajda and produced by TPSA, was nominated for an Oscar
in 2008.
