Orange official partner of 2009 Deauville Film Festival

September 4, 2009 - For the second year running, Orange is to partner the Deauville American Cinema Festival, from 4 to 13 September 2009.

Since its creation in 1975, the Deauville American Film Festival has been showcasing the American cinematographic diversity: Hollywood or independent cinema, and has unstintingly discovered news talents as well actors as directors. For this 35th Festival, more than 100 films will be presented to the public on 3 sites: Deauville International Centre (CDI), Casino's cinema and cinema Le Morny.
This partnership with the Deauville American Film Festival reflects the Group's will to promote all forms of cinema. Every year, Orange supports a wide variety of keynote events in the world of the silver screen, such as the Cannes International Film Festival, the Deauville Asian Film Festival, the Beaune International Thriller Film Festival, the Monte Carlo TV Festival, the British Academy of Film and TV Art (BAFTA) and, of course, the Deauville American Film Festival.

All through the event, Orange cinéma séries and the Deauville American Film Festival will coproduce Deauville Festival TV which will cover live the red carpet and press conferences, together with a daily magazine reporting on festival events and showing daily interviews, together with trailers of the films in competition.
Orange will also be giving pride of place to the 35th Deauville American Film Festival, in the cinema section of the orange.fr portal, as well as on a dedicated mini-site on orangecinemaseries.fr
The Orange TV and orange.fr VoD services will be offering a special selection of independent american films.

Orange will be present in the very heart of the US village to give visitors a detailed view of the Orange cinema offering on TV, PC and mobile.
