
Through its “Green Commitment” program, Orange continues to reduce its ecological footprint. Following the collect of old mobile phones, launched in April, Orange Luxemburg is now awarded with the label
« SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber » for its outstanding waste management. The label is only valid for a precise period of time and has to be earned every single year.
The essential thing is to train all staff and reminding that the setup of ecological waste management is monitored and evaluated through precisely defined guidelines. Among others, these guidelines include measures to prevent and reduce waste, as well as selective collect of remaining waste and cooperation with certified companies that guarantee proper recycling as well as ecological elimination.
To keep this label, Orange commits itself to be controlled once a year and to focus its waste management on preventing and reducing waste.

An initiative of the Ministry of the Environment and the“Chambre des Métiers” of Luxemburg, “SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber” was created in 1993 to support companies in establishing an accurate waste management plan.
