Orange is proud to be partnering the second
European 4 screens festival.
Running from November 14 to 16, 2008 at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France
and the MK2 Bibliothèque cinema in Paris, this festival for real-life images in
Europe will combine competitions, showings and even a university around image
and its developments due to the digital revolution.
16 long format films, produced for cinema or television, and 15 short format
films, designed for the internet or mobile, will be shown as part of the festival’s
Ciné-Télé and Net-Mobile competitions. The best real fictions and documentaries
will be rewarded with Gold and Silver Screens, presided over by the French designer
Jean Nouvel.
The young jury’s prize will be awarded by high school students and trainees from
the Paris Region for the best film in the Ciné-Télé competition. The Phone Reporter
prize will reward the best news material, captured live thanks to a mobile phone.
The 4 screens prize will go to a global media production.
The conferences and meetings for the festival’s image university will focus on
the digital revolution and the power of images.
