a new way of identifying yourself on the orange.fr portal

Convergent since May 2007, the orange.fr portal brings the internet and mobile worlds together and makes it possible for all Orange users to combine their two user accounts, simplifying their access to a range of convergent services. Now, they only need to identify themselves once to be able to access all of the sections.
The group's engineers have made a major contribution to the successful launch of the new orange.fr portal, rationalizing its technical infrastructures and developing various convergent innovative tools.

However, the adventure is far from over and a number of further developments have been planned in order to improve existing services and offer new ones.

In this way, Orange users in France are now discovering  the new identification approach on the portal at the begining of April:

with a Web2.0 interface, it is not only more user-friendly, with each user invited to insert their own personal photo, but also more intelligent: if they have forgotten their password, they will be able to recover it on the same screen;
a major simplification of access to the portal for mobile clients: the portal registration stage is no longer needed, with new users entering their mobile number and immediately receiving a text message with their password.
