Orange partner of the 2008 Women’s Forum

- For the fourth year, Orange is the “founding partner” for the Women’s Forum, which will be taking place in Deauville from October 16 to 18.
- In order to increase the event's visibility, Orange is developing the official Women’s Forum blog throughout the event.
- Orange is once again taking part in the dedicated day to promote scientific careers (SciTechGirls), which will be held on October 15.

On October 17, Barbara Dalibard, executive director in charge of Orange's enterprise activities, will be taking part in the debate on “How can women make the difference in science and technology?” On the same day, Xavier Couture, head of Orange’s content division, will be speaking on “More media, less knowledge?”

Orange and the Women’s Forum blog
Once again this year's edition put under the motto progress to share, future to dare, Orange is present on the official Women’s Forum blog, led by an international delegation of students. Around 20 students will be looking into the following question: “Do modern communication tools represent a step forward for business women’s work and private life?” They will collect answers to this based on their own personal experiences as well as interviews and research.

Sci Tech Girls
“Sci Tech Girls”: a commitment to promoting scientific and technical careers for girls. For the second year, Orange, cofounder and partner for the Sci Tech Girls program, is strongly involved in the Sci Tech Girls day. Alongside the Forum, 100 girls will be meeting women who have forged exceptional careers in the world of science and technology, such as Jehanne Savi, head of IT Delivery for France at Orange. Orange will also be inviting 12 girls to take part in the meeting. In this way, they will be able to benefit from the experience of these outstanding women. The Group will be present on the Sci Tech Girls stand, which will be presenting this initiative to all of the participants at the Women’s Forum.
The Orange internet site teams focused on innovation will be reporting on this event online at www.orange-innovation.tv/

Elodie Jacquemond this year, it's Elodie Jacquemond who tells us the Women's Forum

Elodie, 31 years old, discovered the blogosphere in January 2006, and two months later, launched her own blog, MissHello.com, to share her passions and interests. She rapidly built up contacts with other female bloggers, which led to her creating a site for listing all of them. This was the Nuage des Filles, in March 2007. At the same time, Elodie founded e-nuage, a company focused on the creation of blogs, blogger relations and web consulting.
