a network serving customers

By uniting networks and information systems, customers access the group's integrated services with the greatest of ease and, at the same time, receive the same quality of service, at the best possible cost. It is therefore up to the group to facilitate usage and ensure permanent access to communication or entertainment services, irrespective of the network used. In practice, integration consists of merging the intelligence of fixed and mobile networks so that they offer identical access to services with a fluid flow of information from one to the other.

To launch integrated services, the group first of all created bridges between its fixed, mobile and Internet offerings. Next, it integrated them to propose triple play offerings, then products such as unik, Business Everywhere or Orange Messenger by Windows Live. The issue at stake for Networks and Information Technology consists of fostering and speeding up the launch of innovative convergent offerings, at the same time ensuring the best possible quality of service is provided. A challenge that involves the implementation of quality programmes throughout the network chain and permanent adaptation of equipment and service platforms.
