The aim of this worldwide centre is to integrate software/silicon to transmit, exchange and process information in a secure and reliable manner in order to meet the current or future needs of private and professional users for applications such as security, mobility and traceability.
France Telecom's involvement in Secure Communications Solutions
France Telecom is particularly involved in work concerning secure information transmission solutions from secure machines and architectures for company communication services of the future. Participating in the centre will allow it to increase and share its mastery in the field of interpenetration of telecommunications services and IT applications and the connection of communicating objects.
The first applications in which the carrier will participate will relate to ensuring service quality applied to company information and communication systems, RFID in the logistics chain, "Machine-to-Machine" services applied to the field of healthcare and management of natural risks, in collaboration with the Area Risk and Vulnerabilities Management centre.
