Paris, September 12, 2007

France Telecom announces today that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with the shareholders of TEN, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), with a view to taking a controlling stake in the company.

At present Orange already  hosts TEN on its mobile network in France.

The conclusion of the transaction, which is subject to the finalization of binding agreements, will allow TEN to develop innovative offers and services in France in partnership with Orange.

By adding TEN to its extensive service portfolio, Orange will strengthen its leadership position in mobile multimedia services,  as evidenced by the growth shown in "non voice" revenues (+11,1% for the first half of 2007).
