Despite France's defeat, the supporters were there in force for the France-England match on Orange World and Orange.fr

For the match between France and England, the general public was mobilised, on all fronts: Orange's Internet and mobile audiences continue to grow.
England saw a great mobile breakthrough, as well as a sporting success!

The facts and figures:

  • Orange World, France:

    • This weekend, the France-England match drew close to 11,000 video sessions, bringing "World Cup" sessions to 36% of the portal's sports videos consulted since September 7.

    • The Orange World sports channel recorded nearly 600,000 visits on October 13 and 14, bringing the total number of visits since September 7 to 10.2 million, including around 2.6 million for the Rugby World Cup mini site.

  • Orange.fr:
    • with 2.4 million pages viewed concerning the Rugby World Cup 2007 this weekend, the audience score has now reached more than 32 millions pages viewed since the beginning of the World Cup.
    • with more than 73,000 videos viewed between October 13 and 14, the total number of videos viewed has reached 1.5 million since the beginning of the competition.
  • Orange World, UK:

    • The "clockwatch" page, which is essentially the running commentary, recorded close to 21,000 single visitors for a total of more than 87,000 pages viewed. For England, where the number of people following the match live was particularly high, this figure is a great success for Orange!
