Jérôme Hénique appointed Group Vice President Marketing for France Telecom-Orange

Jérôme Hénique has been appointed Group Vice President Marketing from April 1st, 2009. Reporting to Jean-Philippe Vanot, the Group's Senior Executive Vice President in charge of innovation and marketing, he will be responsible for developing transverse marketing tools for all Group entities and for overseeing the Group’s marketing branch.

Within the Group, he was previously VP Marketing France for residential communications services (fixed line, internet, TV).

Jérôme Hénique joined France Telecom in 1994 as a market and strategy consultant, before becoming a senior mission manager within Expertel Consulting, developing consulting missions for Group companies, the European Commission and several international consortiums. From 1998 to 2003, he held various positions in France Telecom's Spanish subsidiaries, notably working on the launch of Uni2 then Wanadoo Spain as Head of Marketing. After returning to the parent company in 2003, as Wanadoo’s Vice President Strategic Marketing for Europe, he became VP Marketing France for residential communications services in 2006. Within this framework, he was in charge of defining fiber-optic services (FTTH) for the Group Management Committee.

Jérôme Hénique, 39, is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Paris and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Postes et Télécommunications.
