For the second year running, Orange is to partner the Deauville American Cinema Festival, from 4 to 13 September 2009.

All through the event, Orange cinéma séries and the Deauville American Film Festival will coproduce Deauville Festival TV, which will be broadcast on the big screen in front of the Deauville International Centre, at all the Festival's official venues and in the Barrière Group hotels in Deauville. The festival channel will cover live the red carpet and press conferences, together with a daily magazine entitled "The Deauville News", reporting on festival events and showing daily interviews, together with trailers of the films in competition.

Orange will also be giving pride of place to the 35th Deauville American Film Festival, in the cinema section of the orange.fr portal, as well as on a dedicated mini-site on orangecinemaseries.fr

The Orange TV and orange.fr VOD services will be offering a special selection of independent films, including two award-winning films from last year's Deauville festival: The Visitor - Grand Prix du Festival - and Johnny Mad Dog - Prix Michel d’Ornano.
