Angola-Mali match available free to Orange TV’s 2.5 million customers

As the official partner for African football since July 2009, Orange is associating its brand with the African Cup of Nations. To celebrate the start of the competition on January 10 in Angola, from 6:25 pm Orange sport will be showing the opening ceremony followed by the match between Angola and Mali live and unscrambled.


Outstanding coverage for the top African football competition

As a privileged partner and broadcaster, Orange is showcasing African football on Orange sport.
Since November 21, 2009 : “En route vers la CAN” every Saturday at 5:25 pm, a 26-minute long magazine presented by Céline Géraud, Pape Diouf and Ludovic Deroin, reviewing African football’s latest news with several guests
From January 10 to 31, 2010: 32 matches shown in full on Orange sport, with commentary by Pape Diouf, Claude Le Roy, Denis Balbir and Florian Genton
From January 11 to 31: “L’after de la CAN”, a daily 26-minute long show looking back over the day’s highlights and results, presented by Céline Giraud, with the exceptional presence of Christian Karembeu, Patrick Mboma and Ludovic Deroin

For its mobile customers, Orange has created a dedicated mini site which will be available from January 9 on the Orange World portal’s sports channel, providing access to a wide range of content to keep track of the competition in real time:

Almost 60 supporter bars in France equipped with Orange sport

Since March 2009, in partnership with France Boissons, Orange has equipped various bars in France with the Orange sport channel. By setting up Orange sport in these public places, among other benefits, Orange is making it possible for supporters to enjoy the top match from the French championship every Saturday evening, while discovering the channel's rich and quality content. Nearly 60 bars have now been equipped in more than 20 towns and cities across France. For the African Cup of Nations, football fans will be able to follow the competition, which will be broadcast on Orange sport, and share their passion for football with other supporters.
