Internet users are invited to vote for the winner out of the five finalists

Orange is pleased to announce the five finalists for the second Orange Book Award.
These books were chosen from among the works of fiction published in France or in French during the first four months of this year.
The 2010 Orange Book Award is now entering its final phase and the participation of Internet users is more important than ever, since their votes alone will decide the final winner.

They will choose from the following five books:
- Charly Delwart, L’homme de profil même de face (Seuil)
- Emilie Frèche, Chouquette (Actes sud)
- Jacques Gélat, Le traducteur amoureux (José Corti)
- Gilles Leroy, Zola Jackson (Mercure de France)
- Claude Pujade-Renaud, Les femmes du braconnier (Actes sud)

This shortlist was put forward by the official Orange Book Award jury, presided by Erik Orsenna, writer and member of the Académie Française.
The jury comprises:
2 booksellers: Valérie Broutin (L’Horizon bookstore in Boulogne sur Mer) and Emmanuel Delhomme (Livres Sterling bookstore in Paris).
4 writers: Éliette Abécassis (Albin Michel), Serge Bramly (Lattes), David Foenkinos (Gallimard) and Fabrice Humbert (Éditions le Passage), the 2009 winner.
7 Internet users from the Orange Book Community.

The Orange Book Award is the first Internet users' literature award to involve a community. All Internet users are now invited to vote for their favourite book in order to select the 2010 award winner at www.orange.fr/prixorangedulivre.
