Orange and Doro – successful collaboration
Only 41% of people in the over-65 market have a mobile phone. However, the Doro/Synovate survey  shows that, if they find a handset that suits them, elderly French people use mobile phones more than their English, German, Swedish or American counterparts. A year ago, Orange and Doro decided to offer a special handset for the older-person market.

The first Doro mobile available in Orange stores was hailed an immediate success and has already won over more than 50,000 customers. Orange is now going a step further on this market with the Doro PhoneEasy 410s gsm, which has earned widespread acclaim for its design.

A comprehensive Orange offer based on the new Doro handset
The Doro PhoneEasy 410s gsm is particularly practical for older people as it enables them to embrace the mobile phone easily and safely. It is simple to use and offers significant advantages:
-    flip-open mouthpiece – the simplest and safest way to connect and disconnect.
-    smooth and attractive design, comfortable ergonomics
-    big well-spaced buttons with clear numbers
-    user-friendly menus with essential functions only
Compatible with hearing aids, it has SMS and Bluetooth functions, a radio and easy-to-use charger.

The new Doro is available at a budget price:
-    from €9 with a Origami Zen package
-    to €99 with the Initial offer . With the Initial offer, over-60s also get the 10% monthly bill discount for 60+ subscribers.

In addition, Orange customers purchasing a Doro handset can enjoy the advantages of the mobile teleassistance option for just €10/month, giving them access to a wide range of assistance services (home maintenance, delivery of shopping, locksmith and plumbing services, etc.).

In an emergency, the user just has to press the teleassistance button on the back of the handset which connects them free of charge to an agent at Mondial Assistance, 24/7. Mondial Assistance will then arrange, as necessary, for emergency services and contact next of kin.

The Doro PhoneEasy 410s gsm is available from 2 September 2010 throughout Orange distribution and partner networks.
