Orange Mobile Exposure 2010 receives inaugural IAB Research Award

Orange received recognition for its annual Mobile Exposure study, which gives advertisers unparalleled insight into European mobile media trends and behaviours, at Wednesday night’s inaugural IAB Research Awards.  Orange Mobile Exposure 2010 was recognised in the first Mobile Internet Category award.  

The IAB Research Awards illustrate the research projects that act as a cornerstone to the digital advertising industry, proving and promoting the effectiveness of digital marketing. The awards were celebrated at the IAB Europe Congress in Barcelona.   

Catherine Borrel, Research Manager, IAB Europe and Awards judge, comments: “We were looking for research results that empower the advertiser to make the most of digital communications based on robust methodologies and commercially relevant topics. The winning entries stood out for their clearly presented results that the digital industry can act on. The judges agreed that Mobile Exposure 2010 from Orange was addressing an important subject, and will help build advertiser confidence as mobile internet advertising takes off across Europe.”

Orange Mobile Exposure 2010 is an annual independent study conducted by TNS.  2010 represented the third year of research and covered four key markets UK, France, Spain and Poland.  The study benchmarks consumer mobile media trends and generates intelligent data for the benefit of advertisers across a range of different sectors including automotive, fashion, beauty, electronics, computers, gaming, mobile and Internet, food and beverages, travel and leisure and insurance.
