Orange is partnering the "Game Story, a history of video gaming" exhibition, which is being held in the Grand Palais' Southeast Gallery from November 10, 2011 to January 9, 2012.
Under this partnership, Orange is offering visitors a unique enhanced experience that will delight fans of gaming and new technologies. In this way, from November 22 to 26, visitors will be able to discover a giant screen animation based on the video gaming technologies of today and tomorrow. Filmed with a camera showing live images on-screen, visitors will be able to interact with the famous Raving Rabbits thanks to augmented reality.
In addition, inside the Grand Palais from November 18 to January 9, an interactive terminal will enable visitors to take photos with characters from the Raving Rabbits and then share them on social networks.
Web users will also be able to follow the event from the Orange Games portal, as well as the Orange Gaming Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Dailymotion accounts, with opportunities to take part in competitions to win Game Story exhibition tickets and goodies.
For several years now, Orange has been implementing projects at the crossroads between culture and technological innovation. Through its ability to harness the digital world to serve culture and promote new uses, Orange is offering possibilities to improve each person's gaming experience. The market leader in France for video game downloads on PC, Orange distributes a vast selection of games that are accessible to anyone on the orange.fr portal (http://jeu.orange.fr), in addition to a wide range of games on all screens (mobile, PC, tablet, TV, etc.). Orange is also encouraging the development of new types of games, such as geolocalized, 3D or social games.
