BNP Paribas Mobile, the first mobile banking offer in mainland France

Paris, November 23, 2011

On 24 November, BNP Paribas and Orange are launching BNP Paribas Mobile, the first mobile-phone banking service. This offer lets BNP Paribas customers use a novel range of mobile banking services to manage their accounts on a daily basis more easily while on the move.

The strategic industry partnership that BNP Paribas and Orange signed in July attests to the strong desire of both companies to take a strong lead in mobile banking and develop a broad range of innovative features such as contactless mobile services.  Both Groups want to support their customers in using the new services, by combining their experience in their own particular fields of excellence, namely, banking services for BNP Paribas and mobile telephony for Orange.

the BNP Paribas Mobile range has four features
a comprehensive mobile banking service for managing and viewing accounts;
a practical and innovative mobile payment service, for local and person-to-person payments;
a selection of some of the most efficient smartphones in terms of multimedia capability, with models that include contactless NFC technology;
4 mobile phone packages.
