While the communications technology industry is not a heavily polluting industry, our activities have some impacts on the environment.

To serve the entire population of the countries we operate in we need to install equipment, at times in remote and naturally sensitive places. How our customers use, and upgrade, communications equipment, such as handsets, also has an impact.
As a large business employing over 180,000 people and transporting goods between sites and to customers, our transport and office resource needs affect the environment too.
