building a more united world

Created in 1987, the Orange Foundation illustrates throughout the world the Group's values of solidarity, as well as its commitment to allow all to communicate better, and to therefore create connections between people. By fighting against sensory isolation, favouring better autonomy in everyday and professional life and encouraging cultural and social development, the Orange Foundation rallies to make the world more accessible.

communicate better, all over the world
The Orange Foundation's actions cover three domains: health and disability (autism, visual and auditory impairment); education (fight against illiteracy and Education of girls in developing countries); culture (vocal music). The supported projects are chosen by committees of experts chosen for their specific competences in each of the domains concerned... They meet 2 - 4 times a year (for each domain) in order to examine the projects proposed by the associations. The Foundation is present in 30 countries through its subsidiaries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia and endeavour to respect local cultures.

encouraging the action of our collaborators
In order to mobilise the largest number of persons and to gather them around the actions of the Foundation, voluntary work is open to all Group employees and retirees. Today, 350 volunteers in France work within the Orange Solidarity association. Additionally, a sponsorship policy allows every employee to make a proposal to the Foundation to support a project managed by the association in which the employee is involved.
On the other hand, in order to collect funds for causes supported by the Foundation, more and more employees rally and organise collective events or participate in commercial incentives and donate the earnings.
