An
information society must be developed with care and caution. The growing dematerialisation
of exchanges, the adaptation of evidence laws to factor in information technologies,
internal and external electronic processes: all of this calls for high levels
of security. It is vital to be able to guarantee not only the integrity and confidentiality
of the data, but also – and above all – the identity of the parties concerned.
Strong authentication, electronic signatures, encryption, time stamping, today
represent some of the essential foundations for the trust on which the security
of facilities or equipment, services, places and people are based.
We want your personal information to be safe in our hands, so we apply policies
in line with
ISO 17799, the best practice standard for information security management.
In every group company (and when outsourcing information management) we make
data protection part of our employment contracts; inform employees about risks
to data; and require them to immediately report incidents so that
situations can be addressed and data protected, limit and clearly identify those
allowed access to our databases; have detection and prevention controls to protect
against malicious software, check for attacks on our systems and
trace all connections; and have back-up plans to get our services up and running
quickly in the event of disruption.
Time-To-Market (TTM)
Our TTM process aims to launch products and services at the right time with a
maximum level of quality and security. This process is being rolled out throughout
the Group, on fixed and mobile, residential and business products, in all the
countries where we operate. It covers all the steps of the launch of a new offer:
opportunity, design, development, deployment, market launch and the launch review
phase.
