The France Telecom group has signed a global agreement on labour rights with
UNI Telecom. UNI is an international trade union that brings together about 900
individual trade unions. According to this agreement, the Group undertakes to
implement a worldwide social policy which respects fundamental social rights and
individual freedoms.
Under the terms of this agreement, France Telecom is committed in particular
to:
respect fundamental human rights.
To that end, suppliers shall undertake to :
- prevent all forms of compulsory and forced labour
- prohibit child labour, and
- combat discrimination
Our buyers integrate these non-negotiable commitments into their selection criteria,
in addition to the ‘Ethical and Environmental clause’ which has to be included
in Sourcing Corporate Contracts since 2005.

In line with the France Telecom group Code of Ethics and its supplementary specific
rules for the Sourcing Division (October 2007 edition), all employees will ensure
that the principles of fairness, integrity and objectivity are respected in their
relations with suppliers and subcontractors.
