Social media champions

Customers are used to accessing social media platforms anytime and anywhere; we are the enablers of social media through our mobile and broadband services. This makes it possible for them to share news in real time and exchange about their main interests. Due to the uptake in social media, brands are logically enticed to go where they clients are.


Our Group already has a strong presence on such both internal and external social web platforms. Moreover many of our colleagues regularly speak online about their field of practice and interest.

Openness and expertise are what this program is meant to encourage. It shows a positive and innovative image of Orange and highlights its dynamism and makes it possible to establish direct contact with our clients and fans.

The social media champions program enables us to highlight our co-workers’ social media best practices. It is a human network with two main objectives: reinforce our brand presence and engagement on the Internet and make it possible for our co-workers to be part of the global social media initiative at Orange.

This program is enforced jointly by our internal security policy, HR, external and internal communications departments. It is an integral part of the communications training program initiated by Orange in 2012
