Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Spain
Laurent Paillassot holds an engineering degree from the Ponts et Chaussées (1989) and a MBA from the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) (1996). He began his career in 1989 at La Compagnie Bancaire (Paribas Group), before moving on in 1997 to Mitchell Madison Group, an American strategy consultancy specialising in financial activities. In 2000, he joined the Caisse d'Épargne Group, where he was first of all Director of Distribution and Partnerships at the Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne, then CEO of Caisse d'Épargne Financement. From 2005 to 2007, he was also Chairman and CEO of General Electric Money Bank in France, a subsidiary of General Electric Consumer Finance. He was appointed Delegate CEO of LCL (Le Crédit Lyonnais) from 2011 to 2014.
His career reflects his service focus, his attraction to large-scale distribution and his desire to innovate to respond to people’s needs and interact with a diverse range of audiences.
Laurent Paillassot joined the Orange Group in September 2014 as Deputy CEO in charge of Customer Experience and Mobile Banking. He became CEO Orange Spain in March 2016. For him, Orange is at the heart of the evolution that will enable tomorrow’s growth. His arrival at Orange meets his personal objective and need to meet new challenges with an assured continuity in the world of customer service, while renewing his passion for new technology.
Effective 2 May 2008, Laurent Paillassot takes on the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Orange Spain.
