An optical illusion for a good practice

When it comes to being safe, all is fair

In recent months, many French cities have tested a new kind of zebra crossings ... 3D zebra crossings, or something close at least.

It's actually an optical illusion which plays with perspective to give the illusion to cars, trucks and other two wheels they are approaching an area where they will HAVE to slow down.

Now George, Paul, Ringo and John can strut on Abbey Road safely

According to Iceland Magazine, in the city of Islamabad, Pakistan, there was a total drop in the number of road accidents around areas where four crossings were installed (... or drawn).

Hopefully, this leads even more cities to adopt this good practice.
