Orange is the most responsible company in Poland
Orange Poland takes first place in the 2016 socially responsible company ranking and is awarded the CSR Golden Leaf (Palm d´Or) by the weekly news magazine Polityka.
Orange Poland, specifically its CSR policy, has just received two awards: first place in the 2016 socially responsible company ranking and the CSR Golden Leaf from the weekly news magazine Polityka.
The responsible company ranking rewards CSR quality each year. This year, Orange received the highest score in the past ten years. With its unbeatable 99% ranking, Orange is helping increase social responsibility expectations with regard to companies and managers in Poland.
The Deloitte study upon which this ranking is based is adjusted each year in response to changes in the market, tendencies, and the social challenges in Poland and around the world. It addresses issues in five areas:
- Responsible leadership
- Community participation
- Communication with stakeholders
- Social innovation
- Responsible management.
The CSR Golden Leaf is awarded by the weekly news magazine Polityka, which has been assessing corporate social responsibility for the past five years.
These prestigious CSR prizes are an occasion for Orange to emphasize the soundness of its new Essentials 2020 strategy. It is a response to the economic, social, and environmental challenges that has already had an impact in Poland with the development of fiber optic Internet and mobile (LTE) networks. These new technologies are contributing to the production revenues, consumption, employment and budget. In the long run, the country’s development potential will benefit.
