Thank you for supporting Paris 2024’s candidature

Thousands of you have supported Paris 2024’s bid. Thank you for your help!

With close to 100,000 employees in France including 32,000 in Paris, and nearly 30 million mobile customers, Orange is rallying its employees and customers to support the Paris bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The goal is for everyone to join the ambassador community.

Here are the initiatives Orange has carried out so far in support of the bid.

Share your love for #Paris 2024 for your chance to fly to Lima

Starting on 23 and 24 June for the Olympic Days and up until 12 July where the Paris 2024 bid presented its project to all IOC members and International Federations in Lausanne, everyone could share their support for Paris 2024 through the digital activation by tweeting #JeDeclareMaFlamme @ #Paris2024.

Hundreds of messages were posted with reasons why Paris should host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The two winners had the unique opportunity to accompany the delegation and fly to Lima on 13 September to hear the host city being announced.

Get moving for the Games

Thousands of people took part in the three Orange challenges that took place until August with the support of our ambassadors Blaise Matuidi, Jo-Wlfried Tsonga and Richard Virenque.

You walked, ran or cycled in order to push the milometer into millions of collective kilometres by connecting to the #ObjectifParis2024 mobile app.

Running Week Orange Passion

On 25 June, Orange employees showed their engagement as more than 1,000 people took part in a unique 10km run which was organised simultaneously in 10 cities across France.
