Orange and Roland-Garros

Innovation at the heart of the tournament

For us, match point doesn’t just happen on court but through the experience of the fans in the stand, which is why our partnership with Roland-Garros brings you a connected tournament in 2017.

Face your friends on the Philippe-Chatrier court

Be the first to play HoloTennis on the Orange stand at Roland-Garros

A brand new teleportation experience

Now you can practise your serve and volley like never before thanks to the Orange fibre network. Holotennis, brought to you in association with start-ups Mimésys and Emissive, transports you onto the legendary Philippe-Chatrier court to face your friend on the other side of the net. Equipped with a VR headset and HTC Vive controllers, see who has the best passing shot – you or your hologram opponent.

How does it feel to be Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic out on centre court? Now you know!

Now there’s no reason to miss match point on Court 1!

Being in the right place at the right time

Orange is enhancing the spectator experience by keeping them more connected to all the action in partnership with the FFT. Visitors will enjoy a host of new services based on LoRa® technology (long-range, low-power networks) and 4G.

PEUGEOT connected cars at your service

More than 200 special PEUGEOTs will be available for the FFT so that players, VIPs, officials and the public can stay connected. All the cars have GPS to increase travel efficiency and responsiveness throughout the tournament. Orange will also be testing a solution that makes life easier for the drivers thanks to a wireless screen that enables them to respond faster to call-outs.

No risk of arriving late for the next match on the Lenglen court!
