Summer is here, but wait until you’re on the beach to use your phone! #GoodPractice

As the bigger summer getaway 2018 gets underway, Orange reminds you that “using your phone or driving” means there’s a choice between the two.

In partnership with APRR and AREA,  awareness campaigns about using mobile phones responsibly while driving will be running during July and August in French motorway service stations.

Each weekend dedicated stands will be set up where holidaymakers can test out their attention to the road via the SMS Speedmeter experience, a simulator to see how distracted you are offered by Orange as part of its #GoodPractice campaign.

The aim: remind motorists, bikers and also pedestrians how essential it is to use your phone sensibly while you’re on the road:

  • use your voicemail or give your phone to a fellow passenger before setting off
  • stop in a safe place before calling or sending texts
  • put your mobile away if you’re on a bike
  • taking care even as a pedestrian to pay attention to your surroundings

Follow our Good Practice guide:

At Orange, we do everything we can to bring you closer together not further apart, so put your phone down and enjoy the holidays by starting your journey offline.
