Charles-Henri Filippi
Charles-Henri Filippi, born in 1952, is the Managing Director of Lazard. He was Chairman of Citigroup France from 2011 to 2017.
He joined Crédit Commercial de France (CCF) in 1987 after several years in French administration and in ministerial offices. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CCF France in 1998, and was then appointed to the Senior Management of HSBC in 2001, in charge of the Group’s Global Customers activities. He became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC France in March 2004, then Non-Executive Chairman from August 2007 to December 31, 2008. He was also Senior Advisor at CVC Capital Partners France until December 31, 2010 and a Partner at Weinberg Capital Partners until December 31, 2011. He is also founder of the Octagones and Alfina asset management companies, and was their Chairman from 2008 to 2012.
