Executive Vice President, Finance, Performance and Development
Laurent Martinez was appointed Executive Vice President, Finance, Performance and Development of the Orange group on 1 September 2023.
He began his career in 1996 at Astrium, the defense and space subsidiary of Airbus, where he held several management positions in financial control.
In 2004, he was promoted to Finance Director before being appointed Director of Controlling, Performance and Accounting for the Airbus group in 2009. He took over as Managing Director of the Airbus Services Business Unit in 2015.
In July 2018, Laurent Martinez was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Alstom and member of its Executive Committee. During this period, he played a key role in the transformation of Alstom, in particular through the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation, in February 2021, creating the world leader in rail.
Laurent Martinez first graduated as an engineer in Electronics & Telecommunications. He also holds a Master’s degree in finance and accounting.
