A committed
decision-making body

The Foundation’s Board of Directors, chaired by Jacques Aschenbroich, who is also Chairman of Orange SA, forms its decision-making core. The board meets at least twice a year to set strategic directions and approve the multi-year action plan. With a mix of Orange executives, employee representatives, and external experts, the board ensures a diversity of perspectives. This collective governance keeps the Foundation aligned with Orange’s values while maintaining full independence in choosing the projects it supports.

Operational
leadership driving action

Day to day, the Foundation is led by Managing Director Hafida Guenfoud, who reports to the Deputy Chair Caroline Guillaumin, Group EVP of Communications. The Foundation’s management works closely with the network of Orange Foundations around the world. Their job is to turn strategic goals into concrete action programs. Expert committees
selecting the best projects

How do we choose the most promising initiatives from hundreds of applications? Each call for projects has a dedicated selection committee. Led by the General Delegate, these committees bring together recognized experts and Orange employees. They meet two to four times a year to evaluate applications against clear criteria: social impact, innovation, and sustainability. The transparent process ensures every euro invested benefits the communities it’s intended to serve.

A rigorous methodology
to maximize impact

The Foundation’s effectiveness comes from a proven methodology. Every selected project is backed by a formal agreement defining the commitments of all parties. Regular monitoring keeps projects on track, and adjustments can be made as needed. At the end of the support period, a final assessment evaluates the real impact of each initiative. This disciplined approach ensures not only that funds are well used but that actions deliver lasting benefits to the communities involved.
