The countdown is on to finding out the winners of our latest Orange Social Venture Prize in Africa and the Middle East. Since it launched in 2011, the prize rewards start-ups that use Information and Communications Technology to meet local needs (education, health, agriculture, mobile payment, sustainable development and more). This 11th OSVP awards is divided into two main prizes:
- The International Grand Prix, which rewards three projects that have a high social and environmental impact. There were 48 qualifiers from the national phase of competition.

The International Women’s Prize, which rewards a project led by a woman or that aims to improve the living conditions in the local country or region where it is based.
The selection committee deliberated and selected 14 finalists for our 2021 OSVP. Here are the projects:
