All You Need to Know About Investing in Orange Shares

A share represents a unit of ownership in a company. By purchasing a share, you become a co-owner of part of the company. This entitles you to a share of the profits (dividends) and voting rights at general meetings.

A dividend is a portion of a company's profits distributed to shareholders. The amount is proposed by the Board of Directors and approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting. Dividends can be paid in one or multiple instalments (e.g., an interim dividend followed by a final dividend), most often in cash.

For the 2025 fiscal year, Orange proposes a dividend of €0.75 per share. An interim dividend of €0.30 was paid on December 4, 2025 (ex-dividend date December 2, 2025). The remaining €0.45 will be paid on June 15, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled for May 19, 2026. The ex-dividend date is set for June 11, 2026.

The proposed dividend for 2026 (payable in 2027) is €0.79 per share (Source: Capital Markets Day 2026).

To purchase shares, you need a securities account (either a standard brokerage account or a PEA) with a financial institution. You then place an order specifying the number of shares and your preferred price conditions. There are mainly two types of orders: • Market Order: Executes at the best available price at the time of execution. Guarantees execution but not the price. • Limit Order: Sets a maximum purchase price. The order executes only if the market reaches this price or lower. Guarantees price but not execution. Orders can also be set with a validity period (e.g., day order, specific date, or one month, depending on market rules).
