What is OSVP and who can apply?
OSVP is more than a competition. It brings together young companies, institutions, and partners around a shared goal: supporting promising start-ups as they accelerate and grow their business.
This year, we’re especially encouraging projects that use AI, data, or cybersecurity to create positive impact for people and the planet.
The program is open to young entrepreneurs, founders, or co-founders of startups that have been operating for less than five years, in one of the 17 participating countries across Africa and the Middle East where Orange is present.
Applicants need to present an innovative solution that addresses a real need in their community, using digital technologies.
An innovative and inclusive selection process
For the 2026 OSVP, the selection process is even more participatory. Projects are reviewed by Orange employees through the Orange Engage for Change internal engagement platform.

OSVP: positive impact on start-up growth
The range of projects recognized in 2025 highlights the diversity of innovation across Africa and the Middle East. These initiatives span multiple sectors, from agritech with Sand to Green (Morocco), to digital health with E-Blood Bank Makila (DRC), to inclusive fintech with N’Zassa Fund (Côte d’Ivoire), and climate tech with ProVerdy (Tunisia). EdTech solutions such as Maarifa are also helping improve access to education.
The program has helped past winners grow their revenue, secure funding, hire teams, and strengthen their technology.
Through OSVP, Orange continues to support young entrepreneurs, encourage innovation, and contribute to inclusive economic development. By supporting these projects, the program helps bring forward the next generation of businesses across the region.
